The United Kingdom and our fourteen Overseas Territories are British. This must remain the case for the Falkland Islands.

Hands Off the Falklands, Donald Nothing says “leader of the free world” quite like threatening Britain’s closest ally status by flirting with Argentina’s claim to the Falklands because London would not salute every foreign-policy whim on command. Reports that Washington reviewed support for Argentine sovereignty claims as leverage against the UK should outrage anyone who still believes alliances are built on principle rather than tantrums. The Falklands are British because the islanders overwhelmingly chose to remain British. In 2013, 99.8 per cent voted to stay a British Overseas Territory. That is called self-determination — unless, apparently, it becomes inconvenient. Even Sir Keir Starmer, hardly known as a chest-thumping imperial romantic, had to state the obvious: sovereignty rests with the UK and the islanders’ wishes are paramount. Quite right too. Veterans were blunter. They called it bullying. Fair description. Men fought and died in 1982 to defend those islands from invasion. Many still carry the scars. To use their sacrifice as a bargaining chip in some diplomatic sulk is not strategic genius. It is graceless politics. And what exactly is the message here? Support every American military venture or Washington may suddenly rediscover sympathy for rival territorial claims? Charming. One imagines allies across Europe sleeping much easier. The irony is rich. America lectures the world on democracy, then toys with disregarding the clear democratic will of Falkland Islanders because Downing Street was insufficiently enthusiastic elsewhere. The Falklands are not a poker chip, not a punishment tool, and certainly not a stage prop for anyone’s ego. They are home to British people who made their choice. Hands off the Falklands. Some things are not negotiable.

The Argentinians and their American/ Jewish handlers leveraging The Falklands over the Zionist war with Iran, has united the British. One Argentinian foot on The Falklands and we bomb Buenos Aires. Don't confuse temporary weakness, with a permanent loss of strength. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

@Dgingsz @ScottMGreer They are welcome to try and let’s see what happens. The Falklands is far more militarised than it was in 1982 and Argentina’s military is far weaker

LAS MALVINAS FUERON, SON Y SIEMPRE SERÁN ARGENTINAS. VLLC!
Pablo Quirno@pabloquirno

What are you talking about - the USA has broken Russia influence; Syria, Venezuela, Iran and Cuba. Russian allies are dropping like flies, military exports gone! In the process USA has blunted Chinese influence. All while the EU debates what to do in Ukraine - the USA is the only country fighting Russia internationally. Instead of recognizing USA, you complain the USA is doing nothing for the Ukraine and a puppet of Putin. You’re an absolute hypocrite and ignorant of what is happening around you - Germany & Austria still uses Russian energy, France still uses Russia to reprocess nuclear materials. If you want to help Ukraine, get the EU to put troops on the ground and fight. While the USA is fighting Russia internationally

No sorry. This is a failure of the UK to retain its international sovereignty: Gibraltar, Chagos Island. Sharks have smelt blood in the water and the UK is oblivious. Either the UK steps up international or just melts away into the background…. Look at how Spain had to give up its sovereignty to the UN in the 50’s-80’s.

You forgot Syria. Each of these countries were strong Russia allies - no more. The USA has destroyed Russian influence, military export markets and systemically alienated Russia on the international stage. If he IS a thief, then I thankfull that he is breaking down Russian and Chinese influence at the expense of the EU. You want USA to die in Ukraine, but yet you complain about USA breaking apart Russia and Chinese influence….

What does that even mean? The USA is on a campaign to build relationships with partners to counter China influence. This is a quick win for the Monroe Doctrine. For decades the UK has proven incapable of being a strong geopolitical partner with countless number of weak leadership leaving UK exposed to foreign influence. Ukraine is an EU disaster, Germany Austria being dependent of Russia Energy, France still has nuclear material reprocessed in Russia. EU doesn’t want to step up its NATO spending - why? EU has been compromised by China, and fails to see the threat right infront of them.
