I got my Whole Earth Redux copy from @GrayAreaorg in today! I’ve already finished Ana Tuazon’s amazing essay which only makes me more excited for the rest.

There are a lot of elements of PKM people focus on that ultimately amounts to procrastination.
Rather than the perfect tool setup or taxonomy, focus on creating a system that allows you to ask better questions & reliably generate and reuse ideas.

Met with my advisor and got the go ahead for my generative note-making project. Now I have to dive into learning theory to provide evidence that the system is theoretically sound.

I feel like I need to unplug for a week or so. Read fiction. Maybe actually paint a bit. I have a class right now that's totally draining me. I need a recharge.

@NickMilo I would think it's highly contextual and will shift over time. Some are using it to replace repetitive boring tasks which is a positive. But I have a feeling many are delegating their creativity to it and feel it's a positive right now, but the emptiness will eventually set in.

@NickMilo I have mine set up with memory it automatically updates, but I read through and update it every so often to keep it lean.
This is also when skills come in handy. You can be more detailed in the instructions in those and only call them when needed.
