If anyone in the administration’s political base believes that disgusting and despicable personal attacks against Council Members, especially those in leadership, are an effective governing strategy, they are deeply mistaken. Some of the attacks we’re seeing right now are among the most grotesque I’ve witnessed. And I remember all too well when members of DSA harassed and targeted my colleague @Dromm25 (one of NY’s most effective progressive champions) at the door of his home during the pandemic for opposing their calls to effectively abolish the NYPD. Now we’re seeing hateful tropes directed at the first Jewish Speaker and personal attacks against her family, which are crossing lines that should never be crossed. I was under the impression that family members of elected officials are private individuals and should be off limits. This kind of behavior is not just morally wrong, but it’s also counterproductive from an effective governing strategy perspective. It has always backfired, and it will backfire again. @CMNantashaW and all New Yorkers deserve better than this.

A petition declaring that “Zionism is a form of white supremacy” is circulating at a St. Louis–area high school, pushed by a student seen wearing a mask on campus that reads, “End Zionism by Any Means Necessary.”
At Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Mo., roughly 60 students have signed the petition, which urges classmates to join in “help[ing] keep this community safe” from Zionism while targeting a core belief held by most Jewish students.
The petition is part of a broader pattern of antisemitic incidents across the school district, including a student calling a Jewish peer a “kike” without a meaningful response from educators; a female classmate yelling the ‘genocide’ and ‘baby-killer’ libels at Jewish students during class, again without a response from the school; a recent incident in which a penny was thrown at a Jewish student in a hallway at Parkway Central; and a district student’s text message praising Hitler and spewing racist libels at a targeted Jewish student.

The problem with the Russians is that they love to talk about compromises but never make them. They only speak the language of ultimatums. They want us to withdraw from our territory which is under our control. But the reason for this demand lies in their huge losses. They think if we pull back, they won’t lose hundreds of thousands of people.
While this is true, we can't withdraw. This would carry major risks for us. Russia will gain stronger positions in Ukraine, and will start preparing for further occupation. They are liars and they are playing games with President Trump. I am 100% convinced the Russians want to fully occupy us. That's why we need to stop them, reach the ceasefire, make strong security guarantees, and then move it all to diplomacy.

💥What we’ve all feared is happening: Hungarian Russia expert András Rácz wrote three days ago about a potential Russia-backed false flag attack in Serbia targeting the gas pipeline to Hungary. The same information had already reached multiple journalists, including myself, weeks earlier, from sources connected to Hungarian government circles. Now Viktor Orbán has announced that Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić informed him about “explosives of devastating power” found at the gas pipeline connecting the two countries. Orbán and his propaganda machine are already amplifying the news everywhere, with the prime minister convening his security cabinet. It remains unclear what measures the government might take using this alleged false flag operation as a pretext. But if the second part of the information we received also proves true, Orbán could declare a state of emergency, significantly affecting the election campaign—which he is currently losing—and potentially disrupting the organization of the April 12 election. The opposition Tisza Party has been widening its lead to 15–20 points, if not more. Orbán accuses them of being "Ukrainian agents" for months. His propaganda would very soon link the Serbian false-flag both to Ukraine and the Tisza Party, I have no doubts about that.
