My second collection of tools for #MurderEveryMonday are all cutting or chopping implements for outside work. None of these seem to have been featured for their originally intended use.

For today's #MurderEveryMonday we are looking for book covers depicting items found in a tool box or shed. To start I give you a bloody spanner, some wire cutters and an elegant spade.

For #MurderEveryMonday we are looking for spinster who sleuth. Vera Stanhope is really a police officer and a couple of my choices here do eventually have relationships and get married but all of them appear as single investigators in more than one book so I think they count

#MurderEveryMonday Surely, if the reader is looking through a keyhole then we are all spying too?

For #MurderEveryMonday this week we are interested in people spying on one another. Here are two examples plus one of a man spying on something very small with a magnifying glass!

@ArmchairSleuth Oh boy, yes. His post-WW2 books are all about him being a flying detective for Interpol. I have most of them.

@LWestwoodAuthor Am sorting out my mother-in-law's books for disposal. She had a rich seam of omnibuses!! I read the Cadfael books many years ago and enjoyed them but won't be keeping these - too many books and too few shelves.

Today for #MurderEveryMonday we are looking at omnibuses - collections of full length novels rather than short stories. Here are four which each includes more than one novel

Epic fail for today's #MurderEveryMonday challenge looking for book titles related to smelling or smell. The best I can do with a nasal connection is this

@ArmchairSleuth I have not read it yet but I read a previous book I really enjoyed. I suspect that it is a push to call them crime thrillers, although there is a crime at the heart of the book.

For today's #MurderEveryMonday we are looking for crime fiction titles referring to fraud or words associated with it. This is the only title I have with the word fraud in the title

@ArmchairSleuth I am actually not a fan but am sorting out books belonging to an older relative and these were among them. As they are currently in my house I included them but I won't read them!!

#MurderEveryMonday. My second February birthday is Philip Kerr who was born on 22nd. He, sadly, died in 2018 but left some riveting historical detective/spy novels
