Eddie was in shock. That had to be what was going on. He held a piece of toast in one hand, looking that his other that was currently being held by Steve as the man sat next to him in the bed. He was humming as he chewed a piece of bacon, scrolling on his phone mindlessly.

Eddie had expected a lot of things when he finally kissed Steve. He expected chaos. Denial. Anger. He didn't expect immediate reciprocation, escalation, and (*ahem* maybe too soon) copulation. Eddie didn't expect Steve to stay the night. Nor breakfast in bed. "Surprise!"
