@Ari4Ohio You might want to rethink that statement... Section 8 of the NVRA requires states to maintain accurate voter rolls, and the Federal Govt is well within their rights to enforce Federal laws

@cincymom42 You are incorrect. An Ohio Real ID would not be sufficient to register to vote under the Save Act. The Save Act specifically says the ID has to indicate citizenship to be acceptable to register to vote. Ohio's Real ID doesn't do that. This isn't even disputed but the GOP.

You need to prove residency to register to vote. This isn’t hard. I can’t decide if you’re deliberately being stupid or if you really are this ignorant A real ID is sufficient to vote in Ohio’s elections. I do it every time. To obtain a real ID you have to show citizenship. To obtain voter registration you have to prove you live in the state. They are distinctly separate things and you’re conflating them on purpose to confuse people. You are presumably in the government and should know better.

@cincymom42 I wasn't aware that Ohio had suddenly become a blue state. By the way, Ohio has Real ID and it's insufficient to register to vote.

@Ari4Ohio The save act requires a real ID to vote. State IDs are given away to non-citizens by numerous blue state governors. Therefore, a simple state ID or drivers license is insufficient to prove citizenship.

@RobHogan400 Cool story except they don't actually allow them to vote, especially in federal elections. Non-citizen voting is already illegal and very rare. Even groups like the Heritage Foundation find it difficult to find any examples of non-citizen voting.
