Speaking Opportunity l The Impact of Franchising the Township Economy
I am honoured to have been a panelist for the Franchise Association of South Africa (FASA) conference, hosted under the theme Economic Transformation Through Franchise Development.
The Inclusive Growth Through Franchising panel focused on empowering women, youth and SMEs through sustainable franchise opportunities and scalable business models that unlock real economic participation. These are the conversations that matter if we are serious about transformation that is practical, not just theoretical.
I am privileged to share the platform with:

Franchising is more than a business model — it is a gateway to inclusion, dignity, ownership and long-term economic participation. Township entrepreneurs must not only be participants in the economy, but builders of it.
This is why I do this work. This is why TEA exists, because the township economy belongs in national economic conversations, policy spaces and growth platforms. Not as a side conversation but as a central pillar of South Africa’s economic future.
