@_TheWhitechapel @jenlaurenmartin @EverydayPress 'Remetior' is Stuart’s Croft’s final and unreleased work, filmed in 2014, funded by @ace_national @RCA, shot on Super-16mm by Catherine Derry, and featuring @akiekotabe. Fusing sci-fi and poetry with the artists’ film-loop, the work looks at themes of entrapment and circularity.

Opening this Friday! Michelle Williams Gamaker’s upcoming solo exhibition ‘Our Mountains Are Painted on Glass’ premieres a new film work, titled ‘Thieves’. The film is a sequel to ‘The Bang Straws’, which was supported by a Stuart Croft Foundation Moving Image Award.

SCF Awardee Sean Elder’s Birmingham Critical Film Forum has a strong curatorial focus on overlooked artists’ moving image originating from Birmingham, and the wider West Midlands.
