The Madhya Pradesh High Court allowed a 19-year-old woman to live with her partner, rejecting her husband’s habeas corpus plea. The woman told the court she was unhappy in her marriage to a man 21 years older and chose to leave of her own free will. Since she was an adult and not under illegal confinement, the court ruled that her personal liberty must be respected and allowed her to decide where and with whom to live. I desperately hope alongwith with the rest of India that the Pak-led peace initiative fails. We can tolerate anything: 300 dollar oil, Sensex at 30k, inflation at 19%, INR at 130. But we can't tolerate the ignominy of seeing the most historic peace Accord EVER called " The Islamabad Accord", and that too, when Dhurandhar 2 is running to packed houses.
