Now to the conclusion: If we take all our numbers and our shooting splits, and just try to shoot average, here‘s how things would change: FG: 45% -> 48% 3PT: 31% -> 35% FT: 62 -> 75% These aren’t crazy numbers, these are average shooting % numbers for European teams. If we can just get to average shooting our PPG improves by 11 points!! From 82PPG -> 93PPG 93 PPG is elite top tier European company, we‘d be in the ranks of Turkey, Spain and France with these numbers. Insane.

FT% Our biggest issue for years now are our FT%. 62% from the line is unacceptable and borderline poverty. For comparison: top European teams are shooting 75 up to 80% from the line. Thats almost a 20% difference (!!!). And the missed FT% costs us a lot of games (e.g.) vs Serbia. This is something that looks like a plague in our NT. No one except 2-3 guys can hit constantly FT when it matters, and its all just a matter of locking yourself in the gym and practicing it.

BiH‘s offense - an engine that is sputtering way too much (a thread) Over the last 15 games, our NT has averaged around 82 PPG. While shooting the following numbers: 45% FG 31% 3PT 62% FT If we look at each of these percentages individually we get to the following conclusions: 1. FG% Our FG% is solid, but not great. Other top tier European teams are shooting at around the 50% FG mark (48-52 being the range). Of course the FG% goes down because of our horrendous 3PT shooting, but even then we should be doing better in the paint. Especially if you take into account how big we actually are. Even our guards (like Gegic for example) are huge players for their position, so you‘d think that they wouldn’t have that many problems in the paint and finishing around the rim.

@BiHBasketball Didn’t Dubai forbid their players to play for BiH in the first NT window? If so then this decision is laughable to allow them to play in Sarajevo

Dubai BC has chosen Sarajevo as its temporary „base“ for home games until the situation in the Middle East is resolved. An official confirmation is yet to be released, but looks like EuroLeague basketball returns to Sarajevo.
