The most non-technical #Bitcoin multi-factor security (128-bit secure)... Split 24 seed words in two, and separate each half. Plate 1 = words 1-12 Plate 2 = words 13-24 Store multiple copies of the plates in separate locations. NEVER store plates 1 and 2 together! 🔑+🔑=🔒

@willywoo @cryptofergani In reality, the market cap is not the total money invested, it's simply the last price × current total supply of coins. The last trade revalues every coin instantly, and so to double the price in reality, buyers might need hundreds of billions of buying pressure, not trillions.

@cryptofergani You're expecting institutions to put in $3-4T USD in 2026. That's what your price chart implies. $1T has been invested into BTC in the last 17 years. Things move slower once it's a multi trillion dollar asset.

WHY RETAIL IS “NEVER” COMING BACK TO CRYPTO They came in 2021, bought altcoins and NFTs, and got destroyed. They came again in 2025, chased memecoins, and got wrecked again. Now they know crypto is a scam. They moved to stocks because it “feels safer.” So yes… retail is out. Only whales and institutions are here right now. That’s why the market feels slow, flat, and boring. This is the silence before the BOOOOOOM. Most people think retail will NEVER return. But they don’t understand how this market works. Once institutions finish loading… once they start pushing Bitcoin hard… once BTC does a +20% candle out of nowhere… Retail will come back INSTANTLY. They always chase hype. They always chase green candles. They always buy late. We’re not waiting for retail. We’re waiting for the big players to fill their bags. And they’re doing it quietly right now. When they finally hit the switch… Bitcoin will explode… Altcoins will start 10x… 50x… 100x… The whole market will wake up in minutes. This isn’t the end. This is the calm before the chaos. Get ready.

An idea... 🤔 The price of bearer assets (#gold, #silver, #Bitcoin) could be suppressed in the run-up to a CBDC rollout. ie. Discourage most people from buying until it's too late... When the tide turns, it's going to be extremely difficult for those who didn't stack.

@adam3us @willywoo Isn't quantum computing irrelevant if the public key is never revealed? ie. never been spent from a Bitcoin address. Shor’s algorithm can't break ECDSA solving the discrete logarithm problem if the public address is unknown. Am I missing something? Genuine question. 🙏

@willywoo A then insecure signature algorithm is deprecatable via soft-fork. No hard-fork required.

12 YR TREND BROKEN. BTC should be a valued a LOT HIGHER relative to gold. Should be. IT'S NOT. The valuation trend broke down once QUANTUM came into awareness. Don't read this post if you want to stay high on hopium instead of seeing things as they are.

Counterintuitively, this provides more security than most BIP39 passphrases. The remaining 12 words could be up to 2,048^12 possible combinations (128-bit secure). The main disadvantage of this method, is that it relies on the integrity of the seed phrase. bitplates.com/how-secure-is-…

Whenever you're doing anything with #Bitcoin, or talking about Bitcoin, or anything private, or anything else... Put your phone in a Faraday Bag ✅ It could prevent: 1. Leaking your seed words/passwords 2. Sharing private info with spyware 3. Distractions from notifications 👍

How long would it take to brute-force a 12-word #Bitcoin seed phrase? A 12-word seed phrase is based on a list of 2,048 words defined by the BIP39 standard. Each word = 11 bits 12 words = 132 bits (128 bits entropy + 4-bit checksum) 2¹²⁸ ≈ 3.4×10³⁸ possible combinations...

When the internet standards track protocol (HTTP/1.1) was first published in 1997, a return code (402) was created to indicate that a payment is required. No protocol was created for it, and it still sits as "reserved for future use". #Bitcoin fixes this! 👍

Totally agree @SimonDixonTwitt Having self-custody of your #Bitcoin private keys makes you the highest hanging fruit, in the most awkward part of the tree. Bitcoin ETFs, Bitcoin on exchanges, and even Bitcoin in custodial wallets, are collectively the low hanging fruit. 🍒🍏

No. My argument is that centralised custody and large honeypots connected to crime are ceasable. Clean Bitcoin on self custody is much harder to seize than a Bitcoin/Gold ETF if they are doing what they did in 30s. Plus gold is within the fabric of the central banking system so it’s more useful to central banks. But again that wasn’t the point.
