My brain is refusing to process that @weber_virginia - the brightest light in the Stanfordverse - unexpectedly passed on. Look at that smile. She loved us, laughed with us, and kept us company on this app for 10+ years. There's no one like her and I already miss her terribly.

Hi Twitter. This is Elka, Virginia’s daughter. Mom passed away suddenly yesterday. I just want to thank all of her pals for brightening her days. Whether you bonded with her over baseball, football, or hope for the future of democracy, she cherished you.

Kids are off school for NJEA conference. We didn’t plan to go anywhere this year. Both kids bored. All three cats bored. I’m not getting any work done. In a typical world my teens could be on their own, but S requires someone with her at all times./1
