I am looking for a home with a patient person. I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. Pebbles is an adult cat that may not have had many interactions with humans from an early age. She is very apprehensive of people and while showing no aggressive behaviors, she does attempt to flee and avoid human contact. It is difficult to predict if he will respond to socialization, but we recommend offering high value treats and food to help build a positive association to humans. He's currently staying in our medical wing because of some medical needs, hence the crate and bed, but Fluffy seems to emphatically say with every chirp, nuzzle and headbunt that these are just things and what he really wants are friends. A terrifically social senior gentleman, he bounced around a little bit before arriving at his most recent guardian where he was a friendly and quiet couch potato, playing when interested but with a sweet gentleness. Fluffy's now with us looking for a forever home and he's hoping that you'll come in and visit him soon. Fluffy interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems.
