@HarleysTravels Tve last time I saw a 707 in SWR livery was at Teddington, had just alighted from a 455.

2 years ago the Class 707s had their final run with SWR, after only a mere 7 year run with SWR. Some only had a 3-4 year run with SWR. 024 & 030 were retained until September 2024 when they were finally released to SE. I do miss these Desiro Cities on SWR.

The Sun are running a piece with the headline "The Chase Is Over", claiming #TheChase has been "put on ice" by ITV. What's actually happened is they've just finished a block of filming for the daytime show, and instead of returning to the studio later this year, they're filming new spin-off The Chase Around The World instead. Another new series of The (daytime) Chase will be recorded early next year. Beat The Chasers returns this year also.

@every_station It's a good walk from Bank Quay to Central. I did it a few weeks ago but admittedly had a look around the town itself on the way so probably wasn't as far as I thought.

After changing trains at Oxenholme & Warrington Bank Quay to dash across Warrington to Warrington Central. It’s now time for a TPE 185 all the way to Cleethorpes! Decided to upgrade to a comfy seat and much more leg room using Seatfrog. Was it £15 spent wisely? Time will tell!
