@OwenSparks This is marketing for the LUCID robotaxi, a product that does not exist. The entire article discusses a product that is non-existent.

@SprayZee6 @richtosho It’s a difficult conversation, but in my opinion, that’s the reality. It’s the only path forward for the tribes’ progress and development.

SpaceX going public in June would be the single largest venture outcome in startup history. It may create 10k+ liquid millionaires. These people are scientists, engineers and motivated by big ideas. This is an incredible outcome for society that will have positive ripple effects into the future.

This is what the SpaceX launch live streams looked like in December 2005. They've come a long way!

@DevonGuerrero His companies are massive R&D labs. The key difference is that they research, develop, iterate, and ship products in real time.

Honest question: how the fuck does Elon expect to leapfrog ASML? Serious answers only please. Elon isn't known for his R&D expenditures 🤣

Is achieving AGI about novel algorithms and methods, or just a raw physical infrastructure buildout?

Seeing the world's most successful technologist go through these recurring cycles for every new technology he builds is both a white pill on human potential but a black pill on human envy.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

@beffjezos First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then when you win they assign credit to someone else. And the cycle keeps repeating.

I just finished watching it, and while it’s a difficult, complex, and impressive engineering feat, I believe it’s precisely Musk’s domain. He’s known for simplifying and iterating quickly, so I think this will be easier for him than Starship. The ingredients are already there; there’s nothing to invent. It’s just a matter of finding talent, locking the supply chain, simplifying things massively, and applying the Elon method.
