But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.” John 20:22-23

And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” John 20:20-21

The cost of living in Florida has gotten out of hand. Almost everything is up and its only getting worse. We need a governor who will take the struggles of real Floridians seriously. I am the only person who’s prepared on day one to solve the affordability crisis.

The growth of Islam in our country will turn us into Europe and I will not allow that to happen as Governor of Florida. This is an important bill, but it’s only the beginning.

Later that day, which was the first day of the week, Jesus came and stood among the disciples, whose doors were closed for fear of the religious authorities, and said, "Peace be with you." John 20:19

On Good Friday, Jesus took on the sins of the world so that we could be reconciled to God. Three days later, the tomb was empty. Through Him, we are given new life and hope. Happy Easter to you and your families.

When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher). Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ ” Mary Magdalene came, announcing to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and that He had said these things to her. John 20:14-18

But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb; and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying. And they *said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She *said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” John 20:11-13

And so Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there, and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself. So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. John 20:6-10

So Peter and the other disciple went forth, and they were going to the tomb. The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first; and stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in. John 20:3-5

Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it *was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb. So she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and *said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” John 20:1-2

I am heartbroken to share that my father, Arville Renner, has passed away. My dad was the hands and feet of Christ. He lived out his faith in a way that touched the lives of those around him who needed it most. He was a devoted husband, an incredible dad, a loving grandpa, and a steady example of what it means to live a life of faith and purpose. The lessons he taught me will stay with me forever. Our family is grateful for the time we had with him and for the many prayers and kind words we’ve already received. We take comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of our Lord, welcomed home with the words: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant…”

Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. Therefore because of the Jewish day of preparation, since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there. John 19:41-42

Nicodemus, who had first come to Him by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds weight. So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. John 19:39-40
