Shocked to hear of the loss of @j_a_byers He didn't know me at all, but said yes to me asking to do a sabbatical in @ByersLabBC . What an amazing mentor, chemist, and person. I learned so much from him and the group. What a monumental loss.

Really sad news. The world definitely lost an enthusiastic chemist and mentor. @j_a_byers spent a lot of his time to teach his students @ByersLabBC carefully and passionately. He will be greatly missed.
