and yes i see young soap as a problematic teen. he entered the military 1) bc he felt a certain interest 2) to be away from his parents.
i also think that his parents were very religious which made soap kind of wary towards it but as he grew up he found a balance

im so glad!! i always try to take pictures from different angles and scenes, rn it might seem i post the same 5 pics but unfortunately i lost almost all my soap pics 🥹 im retrieving them slowly

he doesn't have a low self-esteem, he knows how he looks but at the same time i feel he doesnt care if other ppl think he's handsome or not. he does care about keeping a nice image but not abt beauty standards cuz in the end he has other type of worries. thats how i perceive him
