Kidston, a Pioneer native, played four years for the University of Louisville after graduating from Defiance High School in 2012. Kidston also played 16 games within the Kansas City Royals' farm system in 2016.

North Central has a new head baseball coach in Anthony Kidston. Kidston was approved as the program's new leader at tonight's North Central Board of Education meeting. Kidston takes over for Josh Hicks, who had a 25-16 record and won a D-IV district title (2023) over 2 years.
