Humbled to be at Utah Beach where my grandfather landed shortly after D Day with the US 79th Division who went on to capture the critical port of Cherbourg. Doing my Run Army 5k with the family at Utah Beach a poignant moment of reflection, thanks to all who support Legacy!

Critical capability for the combined arms team, 2 DIV is re-raising mortars and other support company capabilities across the Reserve Infantry Brigades, expanding opportunities for service in the part time Army as we modernise in support of Army and the Joint Force

The ADF is providing assistance to the WA Government in the Kimberley region as part of Operation FLOOD ASSIST 23-1. This follows heavy rainfall and flooding from Ex TC Ellie. RAAF C-130J and C-27J aircraft as well as #AusArmy helicopters and personnel are on task or on their way

This week another 50 ADF personnel arrived in #orange by C-27J Spartan aircraft to support #NSWFloods. As of 19 November, @ 200 ADF pers with high clearance heavy vehicles and plant equipment are providing support to emergency authorities in the Central West NSW region

The ADF is supporting a request for assistance from the NSW Government in response to the current flood event with helicopters on call to support night search and rescue in affected areas. Approximately 200 ADF personnel are on standby in NSW and QLD if needed #JTF629

From Jungle to City! 11 Bde soldiers deployed onto EX Austral Shield from the Jungle Training Centre and SEQ to Townsville on a no notice rehearsal of their response to a domestic security threat. Reservists providing short notice contingency forces for the Army & Joint Force!
