Project update! 🚨 At the start of January we had an incredible 2 weeks deploying our acoustic recorders to monitor and localise wolves in Yellowstone National Park 🐺 We have a ton of data to analyse and so many amazing howls captured 🤩 Thanks to @YellowstoneNPS for having us!

Thanks to funding from the @GreatPlainsCons Big Cats Initiative we’re out in Nepal with @Grizanderson working on a new #bioacoustics project to help facilitate coexistence between people and tigers 🐅 / leopards 🐆! Stay tuned for updates from this trip and throughout 2024! 🇳🇵

Started this paper forever ago. It's finally out! Yes-you can tell fawns from adults by the width of their hairs. Important when analyzing hairs found in carnivore scats! Shout out for @vt_fishwild undergrad research turning into published paper @whapavt
