@olivecider776 I'm personally hoping for a structure somewhat similar to radiant dawn but I'm not sure they are brave enough to do that sort of thing again
English

@redifroga It makes perfect sense in the context of how city dwelling people actually lived in antiquity. Anatolia was across the sea from Greece, and Russia was equally irrelevant to both

I was just a baby so this is second hand knowledge, but my family claims my brother didn’t speak til he was almost 6. And he said “can you pass the ketchup please” startled my mother asked him why he’s never spoken before and he said “everything has been right until now”
kat 🌲🕯️@capstellium
my daughter never spoke a full sentence until today. she was holding some toy ducks and said "how many ducks do I have?" and then "hi, my name is joanie" and she's been talking normally in full sentences the rest of the day. it's like she just powered on and realized she's alive

🚨 NEWS ALERT 🚨
The US Embassy in Canberra has been ordered by Washington to recruit Australian opinion leaders to work for them, alongside the US military’s Psychological Operations unit, to strongly increase US propaganda efforts in Australia.
▪️“The United States has directed every American embassy and consulate across the world to launch coordinated campaigns against foreign propaganda.
▪️“The cable, signed by the secretary of state, Marco Rubio, on Monday, also suggests the embassies and consulates work alongside the US military’s Psychological Operations unit to address the problem of rampant disinformation.
▪️ “Embassies are told to recruit local influencers, academics and community leaders abroad to carry counter-propaganda messaging — an approach designed to make American-funded narratives feel locally organic rather than centrally directed.
▪️”The State Department said it…had made countering foreign “anti-American” propaganda “a top priority” — and the department would take “an assertive stance on this pernicious issue” by “fully harnessing every tool in our diplomatic toolkit”.”

@deepfriedwoomy This works for reze because she is human born in the Soviet Union, but yoru is the war devil. She has presumably existed since the dawn of humanity, before japan or the US existed

@CantEverDie I didn't believe it when people were saying it before but yeah it kinda adds up now
English

@DiscussingFilm Why spend all this money just to do the exact same thing again?
English

@AwestruckVox "Pochita's power doesn't work like that" That's how the final chapter is written, so I guess that is how it works actually
English

The “that’s not how Pochita’s power works” takes are kinda crazy because
1) we only ever saw him erase body parts so we really don’t know how his powers affect timeline related concepts like WW2.
2) the fact q-tips were suddenly sold as instruments DOES imply it can rewrite history. ears didn’t exist for only a few mins. that wasn’t a spur of the moment business pivot
3) the reality-altering entity eating himself causing reality to be radically altered is not that hard to fathom or inconsistent lmfao
English

@regularaugust I don't mind the ending itself but if felt rushed to me. Also I would have loved to see some more from asa seeing as it was as much her story as denjis in part 2

@olivecider776 They were interesting if pretty niche units in FE9 but they really nailed it the second time round in FE10. Having strike rank increase weapon might is such a genius decision, and makes early game units like volug have a whole different training arc to the beorc units
English

disregarding that the confession is obviously a joke, I think laguz were really cool not only in a world building way but also as units. I really hope that we get something like laguz in the future besides the normal manaketes

there's something about how you lot refuse to entertain the sentiment that the slave owning valaryians could also be misogynistic
jennerys slaygaryen@firstofhernnmme
the targaryens' downfall being directly linked to how quickly targ males threw their own women under the bus to appease andal culture and keep power to themselves flew right over their heads

he looks like a normal person here and not like a cement block was given sentience

is it a stretch for me to say re: vendetta is probably the best chris we have gotten?

@PiersTorday At least the gilded age billionaires had the common decency to be scared of being killed the mob if things went bad
