@drewlevin @p1mek Exactly, server can send fake puuid to client, server just needs to make a dictionary mapping fakepuuid > real puuid. you can ask chatgpt to write code for this its easy enough. It would also stop riotclient chat v5 endpoint from returning real puuids

@drewlevin @p1mek Enemy team doesnt reveal puuids btw. also thats why I said temp id, your correct things could break, what you do is server issues temp puuid to client, only the server knows real puuid. you report someone, lcu sends temp id in request headers - server knows its real puuid

@CatBot320 @p1mek if we don’t send puuids at all, I would bet my annual salary that at least one existing functional thing stops working my starting guess would be champ select reporting but I’ve been surprised before

@drewlevin @p1mek Why dont you just patch it then? this has been a known thing since 2022. Rtmp and Rms still sends PUUIDs to client which can then be converted into names. All you have to do is randomize and use temp puuid and send that to client instead of real one

ik this probably isnt a big issue for Riot but when you log into a permabanned account, you literally cant log out, riot client wont open and you cant log out through league client, i have to restart entire computer then open riot client to log out, pls fix @drewlevin

@SoloQJokerr @drewlevin @Elolesio_ i did it recently and nothing happened, logging into banned account never causes any other punishments, only case is when you log into banned hardware that can cause issues but not the case here

Number 8 literally says it's against TOS to bypass access to Riot services. League is a Riot Service. Being banned stops you being able to access it. Hence why bans now carry over on any accounts you log into. And no you can use an alt account when your ban is over. Go get permabanned and log into an alt see how long your account lasts. You're actually a sub IQ

@SoloQJokerr @drewlevin @Elolesio_ Your the stupid one, that refers to bypassing technological measures. Logging out and logging into another account doesnt fall into this. Now if they actually had measures in place to prevent you from using another account yes. if no hardware ban your allowed to use alt account

@CatBot320 @RiotK3o maybe they got "a little bit more money" to force players to update. Win 10 ended suport recently but Win 11 is an AI forced OS and didnt justified the OS update for most clients. If the product cant sell for itself you just force it, create new problems and provide the solution

@RiotK3o (2/2) This is on the same level of dumb as the police stopping someone walking at night for being ”suspicious” then demanding to see real id or get jailed, but not everyone has real id or carry that on them all the time.

@RiotK3o (1/2) Why do this in League? Many people still use Windows 10, and any PC built before 2016 wont have TPM 2.0. You can claim it only effects a small percentage of people but in Valorant thousands of random people get this all the time.
