.@aza not a day goes by that I don’t think about your talk in 2011/12 at Michigan. Powerfully predictive and scary at the same time. It’s only a matter of time before memories are subjective to not just the author but the software saving and rendering them. Thanks again.
@TastingHistory1 YES! I noticed that you've color corrected and your white balance is great. Stoked to see you in high contrast and color accurate glory! You likely did this a while ago, but I only realized it here. Cheers and thanks again for what you do. I make the figgy pudding every year.
@TastingHistory1 Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to insult you or your team. I just noticed a change from your old videos. Anyhow; love what you're doing and what you've done. The Titanic series was excellent.
@TastingHistory1 Love the show; but it feels like you could adjust the color grading in the new kitchen; everything reads a little flat. The example below is a little over saturated, but I think you get the idea.
@TastingHistory1 Sorry; here's a video where you can scrub back and forth to see the difference between 3 options: the original, adjusted, and likely over saturated. The 0:00 is your original.
Roe v. Wade struck down should be a reverberating call to action for anyone that supports women's rights. A disappointing moment in US history that should be the beginning of a rising change or a descent into an Atwoodian dystopia.
Women's rights > State's Rights

@pbrody Kind of like options trading for shoes. Creates a weird place where a mfr can create a product, sell the rights to the product, and then never deliver it, but store it. A little like classic cars you can't/won't drive but sell the title. Things are going to get weird.
@DigitalLA It's upside down. It's "Can I get uhhhhhhhhhh". It's a meme, but could likely be some lame marketing campaign (customer ordering) for McDonald's or fast food restaurant pre superbowl.
It remains something that I reference mentally at least once a month, and it's framed my perception/hopes/fears of social media. I just wanted to say "thanks" and let you know it made and still does make an impact.
@aza You gave a talk at the University of Michigan in ~2010 related to computer vision, its effects on advertising, and our eventual ability to remember events accurately. I just wanted you to know that that talk has stuck powerfully with me.
We gave selfish, stupid people the option to be courteous and smart, and they chose to be selfish and stupid. This is a necessary mandate. I hope it remains enforceable. Winter 🦠 is coming.
@CanavanRonan you’ve also started to sit and ride your bike and really cruise in it now. It’s amazing to see you learn how to go from walking it to almost riding it.
@CanavanRonan we wake up in the mornings now and you’ll read for a while by yourself. You turn on your lights and music and read you animal books with the sounds of eagles and elephants and Lullabies filling the house from 630-700am.
@OfficialBlueyTV episode called Flat Pack might be one of the best cartoons I’ve ever seen. Brilliant and initially, deceptively deep. The whole show deserves awards, but this episode is a great surprise. #bluey
@CanavanRonan We've been talking with Facetime while I've been traveling; we play a game where I hide off camera and bring my face onto the screen from weird angles. You laugh, get your toys and excitedly show them, and even "big hug" the phone when we say goodbye. Love you!
@CanavanRonan I went to my father's funeral three days ago and said goodbye to him for the last time. His relationship with me was flawed, and I promise you that I'll do better by you to make sure you know that you're loved, that I'm proud of you, and that I care about you.
