@PokerNews @ChancesCards What I don't understand is people who play online & like the 4 color deck, but don't like it in live. It sounds kind of dumb, if you like it online, why wouldn't you accept or like it live? Wtf is the difference? With that said I personally don't like it online or live.
English

A recent post from @ChancesCards seemed to split the poker world. So, where do you stand?
Do you think four color decks should become the norm?

@OudouchYassine @TheDunkCentral @JLew1050 The problem is that he is rarely ever healthy long term. Look at the last 5 yrs how many games has he actually played each season. He makes a big deal that he is still young, yet he gets inured a lot, so imagine each yr he gets older how much more injury prone he will be.
English

@TheDunkCentral @JLew1050 "28 years old and entering his prime. The disrespect for a walking bucket is getting out of hand. People really forgot what BI does when he’s healthy?
English

Brandon Ingram fires back at the people who don’t think he still has it
“There’s a lot of idiots on social media. You just have a lot of people that don't know what's going on. If the narrative was whether or not I still had it, I'm only 28 years old.”

@UnderdogNBA @JLew1050 They only can enjoy the moment if they win, there's nothing to enjoy if they end up losing. Let's hope the Raps will somehow win this game.
English

Darko Rajakovic on the Raptors' lack of playoff experience, via @JLew1050:
"We're not playing in Europe. They're not going to be throwing bottles at us. There's not going to be lasers in our eyes when we're shooting free throws. It's going to be loud. So what? That shouldn't faze us. We need to go out, play to our standards, and enjoy the moment."

English

@_MetsMetrics @ShamsCharania Also a joke LaMelo was fined for tripping Bam in the playin game, they rewatched the video and acknowledge ref missed it during game so why just a fine and no suspension for that dirty play?
English

@_MetsMetrics @ShamsCharania Yeah, I agree that if they think their is a problem with the rules, they should wait for next season to change it, not do it this season to benefit famous players.
English

@gabe41100171463 @GigglingGanon Also if the 2 cops did no wrong, why would the court award him 1.6 million?
English

@gabe41100171463 @GigglingGanon Lmao, you must have a problem with your eyes if you think the cops did nothing wrong. The federal agent wasn't completely in the right, but the two cops already had the agent in handcuffs on ground. The agent wasn't resisting, yet the cop still use excessive force & tased him.
English

Police in Columbus Ohio mess up bad when they arrested a real ATF agent.
This one of those videos that really make local PD look bad. The first officer arrived on the scene and immediately drew his firearm and started demanding the ATF officer to get on the ground.
Never gave him a chance to show his credentials, treated him like a criminal with zero chance to prove his innocence. clearly in the video it is seen he had his hands up with his paperwork in his hand. There was no need to demand on the ground and not give him a chance to identify himself.
They arrested him, put him in the back of a squad car and continued to mock him until they made contact with his supervisor.
This ended in a huge lawsuit that cost the tax payers of Columbus 1.6 million dollars over two incompetent cops that believe or not as of 2025 are still on the force doing God knows what other damage.
English

@interesting_aIl Looks fun and if you fall off this motor like jet ski seems easy to get back on but for 40-60 mins of fun use, it's definitely way over price at range of $6000-9000. If this had 3+ hrs battery life than that's worth it or if it's only $3000-4000 in price.

You're standing with God, about to be born. He tells you you're going to be a professional poker player, but you have to choose between being very successful (winning the @WSOP Main Event), or meeting the love of your life / having a soulmate.
You can't have both.
You?
English

@WSOP @Nick_Palma1010 Definitely nothing wrong with what the big stack did, if big stack has a bad hand why should he have to play it and even if he has a descent hand he might not want to knock this player out and then is likely get replaced by someone with bigger stack that could actually hurt u.
English

🚨Drama on the Bubble of the €5,300 PLO Championship!!
@Nick_Palma1010 was in the big blind with a single big blind behind. After some table chat, the big stack folded his small blind and gave him a walk…😬
Tensions boiled over as other short stacks in the tournament were not happy with the situation that unfolded.
What do you think about this move?
English

@abarone68 I don't play a lot of tourney anymore but I think shoving pre would have been the best move to put pressure on CL to fold but since you only flat and CL shoves I would fold now.
English

Had this doozy of a hand yesterday with 6 left in the $250 Sunday Super Classic.
Chipleader opens UTG, 13 BB stack in HJ makes it 9 BBs, and I have the dreaded POCKET JACKS. Hand seems too strong to fold, but do we want to jam? I wasn't sure. Thought that it might be best to play our entire continuing range as a call. So that's what I did.
Folded back to the chipleader who SHOVES. Now what?
Payouts
1st: ~$36,000
2nd: ~$27,000
3rd: $21,877
4th: $16,870
5th: $13,008
6th: $10,031

🔴 BREAKING NEWS: Authorities raid @LodgePokerClub, Texas' Largest Poker Room
Here's what we know so far 👇 pokernews.com/news/2026/03/l…

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone bumps into you, making you spill your coffee everywhere
why did you spill the coffee?
"Well because someone bumped into me, of course"
Wrong.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea
Whatever is inside your cup, is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which will happen), whatever is inside you will come out
It's easy to fake it until you get rattled.
So ask yourselves... what's in my cup?
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Love, gratitude, hard work, and humility?
or anger, bitterness, harsh words, and reactions?
You choose.

@grok @shynkariukIllia @PabloSabbatella @grok so another word BTC is no longer decentralized if this happens then?
English

The author fears Tether's USDT on Bitcoin (via Taproot Assets/Lightning, now advancing with Utexo) introduces centralized control: Tether alone mints/freeze tokens (they've frozen $4B+ already).
If USDT volume explodes on BTC and a hard fork hits later, Tether picks which chain their stablecoin lives on—potentially tipping which fork "wins" as the real Bitcoin.
Yes, this risk is real: USDT remains permissioned/centralized no matter the chain, unlike native BTC. Similar dynamics played out on Ethereum with stablecoins.
English

VERY bad idea.
This is one of the biggest threats for Bitcoin. Apparently they didn't learn from the biggest threat that Ethereum has today and they just copied it.
Minting permissioned stablecoins (can be frozen) on Bitcoin means that now the entity that mints them, in this case Tether, will have a HUGE leverage on Bitcoin from now on. If USDT over Bitcoin grows enough, and Bitcoin faces a potential hard fork in the future (it will happen eventually), Tether will be the one saying in which chain USDT has value an where not, and that is a LOT.

🚨 BREAKING TETHER IS LAUNCHING USDT ON BITCOIN, WITH TRANSACTIONS SETTLING DIRECTLY ON THE BASE LAYER AND THE LIGHTNING NETWORK. A MASSIVE STEP FOR BITCOIN’S PAYMENT ECOSYSTEM. ⚡️
English

@SmindCrypto @coinbureau @grok make this make sense how could there be fake BTC and how would ledger treat it as real BTC?
English

Bithumb’s failure was a failure of a private bank, not the Bitcoin network itself.
That was essentially a "fat-finger" accounting error by a centralized company.
The 620,000 "fake" Bitcoins were never on the blockchain.
They were just numbers on a screen inside Bithumb’s private database.
Bithumb was able to freeze the accounts and recover 99.7% of the coins within 35 minutes.
English

🚨BITHUMB MADE 620,000 FAKE BITCOIN?!
On Friday, a system glitch let Bithumb distribute 620,000 $BTC that never existed on the blockchain.
The exchange only had 175 $BTC on its own books and 42,619 BTC for customers, yet its ledger treated fake coins as real.
South Korean lawmakers call this a structural failure, not human error.
Regulators are now launching on-site inspections and possible sanctions.

@SawyerMerritt Winner gets paid shit to think and plan for this project and basically Elon saves money for u to think of a good idea at no cost, u make this sound like so good such bs.

NEWS: The Boring Company has launched a new contest in which it will build a one mile long tunnel for free.
You can submit a proposal for a tunnel project of up to one mile in length with a 12-foot inner diameter. The company will select one winning proposal and construct the tunnel at no cost to the proposer.
The tunnel could serve a wide range of purposes, including a Loop tunnel for passenger transport, a freight tunnel, a pedestrian passageway, a utility tunnel, a water tunnel, or any other practical use case.
Evaluation Criteria:
• Usefulness: How big of a problem does this solve? If it is a Loop tunnel, how much time is saved per rider and in aggregate? If it is a freight tunnel, how much time is saved per container and in aggregate? Etc.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Level of support and enthusiasm from relevant stakeholders (provide letters/statements of support)!
• Technical, Economic, and Regulatory Feasibility: Must be physically reasonable to build, within TBC's standard per-mile tunneling costs, and be able to be permitted in a reasonable amount of time
Submission Requirements:
• General description of proposed tunnel and rational for construction
• Projected benefit (e.g., time savings per user, cost saving per vehicle, etc.) and in aggregate (provide data to support your assumptions)
• Location/map of proposed end points of the tunnel, including the owners of the relevant land and right-of-way
• Bonus: Any available data on subsurface conditions (geotechnical, utilities, etc.) along the proposed alignment
Submit via tunnelvision@boringcompany.com.
Timeline:
• Submissions Due: February 23, 2026
• Winner Announced: March 23, 2026
Additional Notes:
• Submissions can be entered by any entity type - individuals, companies, governments, etc.
• The Boring Company plans to pay for the tunnel construction and buildout; payment for related infrastructure (e.g. an artistic showpiece in a Loop Station) will be discussed with the winning project team.
