Neighborhood commercial corridor to the Eisenhower Expressway

The Reliance Building - 1895 designed by John Root (of Burnham & Root) Consisting of mostly plate glass windows set into a terra cotta facade. This building foreshadowed the design trends that would really come to dominate 60-70 years in the future.
