@krack932 Bullies used to attack autistic people because they were easy targets, but then "neurodivergence" got labeled as the "good guys" so now all the bullies claim to be neurodivergent so they can continue bullying while looking like the good guys

A lot of the issue is that people think it's just a choice to ignore rules, logic, or systems in favor of protecting feelings. But for some of us, it really isn't. What's odd is that the same people virtue-signaling about "neurodivergence" will turn around and try to behead you for actually being "neurodivergent". I don't even like using the word because it's so tied to them. They don't care about real acceptance for those who actually think or feel differently, and they never will. No matter how you explain it, they'll ignore it and slap their own label on you, and circlejerk about it with their quirky friends (you're not invited, btw, just a daily reminder of how heckin inclusive they are). Yet they still expect you to respect their labels and their identity, while they do nothing but mislabel you and destroy your sense of self. It doesn't make sense, and it never will. No amount of cancel culture can change fundamental differences in how our brains are wired. S-type autists are oppressed tbqhfamalam

@krack932 People don't like being told they are wrong, so they're going to get angry when someone contradicts their interpretation using obscure lore that the company itself doesn't care about anymore

I wanna post about Shadow more, but at some point it became almost...how do I word it, uncomfortable I guess. You post factual info and people will go "well I don't agree, I like it when Shadow isn't Shadow actually, Shadow being not Shadow should be canon." If you correct inaccuracies or quote Sega staff directly, you're "being mean", "overreacting", or personally attacking people, somehow. The fandom's so flooded with headcanons that paying attention to the source material is treated like a moral failing. It's really off-putting as someone who has a very logic-based way of viewing the world.
