As of 11:30 this morning, the water was coming through the Dam at 150,000 cubic feet per second (cfs). This means scouring sediment and nutrients into the upper Bay...again. They're expecting to open up to 8 gates today after having 12 open yesterday. baltimoresun.com/news/weather/b…

Heavy rainfall throughout the summer has lead to an unusual amount of sediment, and the polluting nutrients that accompany it, to be scoured from behind the Dam. Since July 15th, we’ve had 25 days where the average cubic feet per second was over 100,000 facebook.com/CleanChesapeak…
