The #COP26 is over. Here’s a brief summary: Blah, blah, blah. But the real work continues outside these halls. And we will never give up, ever.

While Brazil makes weak promises at #COP26, the destruction of the Amazon keeps soaring in the country. Oct 2021 had the highest deforestation rate for the month on record. We need to stop all deforestation to protect biodiversity, Indigenous Peoples and the global climate.

Now as #COP26  is coming to an end, beware of a tsunami of greenwashing and media spin to somehow frame the outcome as “good”, “progress”, “hopeful” or “a step in the right direction”.

Finally in Glasgow for the #COP26! And thank you for the very warm welcome…😅

“The fact that we are...still subsidizing fossil fuels directly or indirectly using taxpayer money is a disgrace.” @GretaThunberg. She’s right. It’s time to #EndFossilFuelSubsidies. Congress needs to get the job done.
