@ESPNBooger ESPN worked overtime to influence the committee to keep Notre Dame out. Now that they’ve achieved that, they want the ratings that Notre Dame brings 😂 What was “weak” was ESPN politicking all week for Miami and Alabama.

@MikeLupica Probably but not for the reasons you think. The ACC is weak, the Big 12 is weak. Can you imagine being proud of Virginia vs Duke. Or winning a championship against BYU. Rank the teams, eliminate automatics and definitely get rid of mid majors unless they are a top 12 team

@ESPNBooger @danorlovsky7 A terrible take Booger. Biased based on your affiliations but expected. Alabama should be out. The ACC should be punished for a terrible championship game. 2 bad teams in their game. It’s just not a good look for college football. And 2 mid majors in the CFP

The ACC is a weak conference for football. If they did not have a messed up tie breaker or had a stronger conference, this doesn’t happen. It’s an embarrassment to college football that they allow a conference to have such weak teams playing for a title. Terrible

Does Notre Dame start exploring the option of leaving the ACC? The ACC openly campaigned against ND. The Irish helped the ACC bank accounts for a long time. When the ACC contract with ND is up, perhaps sooner (buyout), look for the Irish to have a new partner(s).

Linsly alum Caleb Murray hit back to back 3’s early in the second half of Wheeling’s exhibition game at WVU today, assisted on this one by Cameron’s Trevor Beresford. Murray scored 8 points. WVU won the exhibition 80-54.

@shegone03 I jumped over the catcher in a similar situation in HS in 1979 to avoid a collision. Their athletes, he had several options other than lower and leading with his shoulder.
