@dansapienza I foolishly went into the bathroom by myself. She screamed and threw herself against the door. I opened the door and SHE said, “what’s wrong?!”

The real challenge in communicating with a toddler is determining what is an emergency and what is not. “What are you so urgently screaming at me?!? Is something on fire?!? Oh, you are wearing a shirt with a spaceship on it. Not really as urgent as you made it seem.”
