Sentinel has the only perpetual DHT architecture in all of P2P networking and is the only decentralized VPN network where the entire operation, from node discovery to payment to connection runs through a single blockchain RPC/LCD endpoint. Payment → TX broadcast to chain RPC. No payment processor. 4. Handshake → Direct HTTPS POST to the node. No signaling server. 5. VPN tunnel → Direct WireGuard/V2Ray between you and the node. No middleman. Every other VPN centralized or "decentralized" has a centralized and non resilient structure for discovering nodes: - NordVPN, ExpressVPN → corporate API servers handle everything - Other on-chain VPNS → discovery API off-chain - Tor → directory authorities + relay selection All other P2P networks Sentinel's blockchain IS the backend. The nodes register themselves on-chain. The prices are on-chain. The sessions are on-chain. The payments are on-chain. The fee grants are on-chain. All you need is lcd.sentinel.co and a wallet. No API keys, no accounts, no OAuth, no server. A mnemonic and an RPC endpoint is literally all you need to build a complete VPN application.
