Printed out a walking route. Downloaded an audiobook to listen to. Left the house at 9.30am. Stopped for a delicious pub lunch. Packed hot mulled wine in a flask for the afternoon. Watched the sun set from the top of a hill. Had a lovely day.

I obviously declined as I didn't want him to watch me fumble in my bag for my keys for 20 minutes.

Got a taxi home because the bus didn't turn up. Before I got out of the taxi the driver asked if I wanted him to wait until I was safe I the house. It was such a nice gesture and not one ever offered by a taxi driver before. What a sweet man!
