You weren’t spending 5 hours at the airport under Biden….matter of fact….the airlines were required to pay you money if they messed up…..just food for thought.

@Annie_Wu_22 The PA Democratic Party committees chose Lamb. The major newspapers chose Lamb. It was precisely Fetterman’s unknown and off putting nature as a legislator that they cautioned against! But you didn’t listen because he dresses like a bum and Bernie liked him once!

I am not happy with our “Dem” Senator. TRUST ME!!! But blaming progressives or pretending Lamb was something he wasn’t is disingenuous Fetterman won all 67 PA counties in the primary - deep blue, moderate suburbs & the T We were ALL tricked and can act differently in 2028

Lamb ran to the right of Fetterman on every issue except for Israel. In the 2022 primary debate (pre-stroke) that was abundantly clear. Let’s stop re-writing history. Conor was never some progressive champion and at the time was the most moderate of the 3 primary candidates.

No no, you should be proud of all you accomplished through hard work. Nobody would have fallen for this guy's asshole schtick without a legion of consultants and marketing people like you to sell them a bill of goods. You earned this

People posting about child-free weekends in the city but I just asked my girl what my name was and she said “Daddy Rishmawy”, so I think I am okay.

my favorite ‘Hamilton’ fact is that Lin-Manuel has admitted in interviews that the musical kind of just speeds through the John Adams presidency because he could not think of any way to give a positive spin to anything Hamilton did at the time.
Ben Crew@BenjaminCrew1

Something very funny about the hypothetical of "What what the founding fathers think of America if they could see it today?" is that more than anything John Adams would be pissed off at a man he considered the DEVIL having an acclaimed musical about how he is cool

Even accounting for the class implications, and the fact St. Peter’s has a large parking lot they could better utilize for drop off, such behavior is completely unacceptable. Put your kid’s booster seat on the curb side or drop off somewhere else.

My wife & I drive our daughter to school at 16th and Lombard. On the way we pass the $20,000 a year St. Peter’s school and their drop off is very chaotic. This morning a father getting out of his car slapped our car as it was driving by, scaring my wife and 5 year old.

Yellow. Everything is trapped in a thick fog of yellow. Dishonor upon the anti-female tree city planners from yesteryear, who insisted that Raleigh and other American cities plant all of these male trees. This annual pollen bomb is their doing.

Sen Pittman praising the mayor in the inquirer, I can’t remember the last time he’s praised anything related to Philadelphia. I’m inclined to not even want these taxes…. But fact is Parker plays the game very well.

I live in the suburbs. Had a bonfire with friends Friday night. Church parents group Saturday morning; church hires childcare so adults have book club. Picked up pizza for three families on the way home. Kids played outside all afternoon while we sat on the porch. Cooked hotdogs over bonfire that evening with the neighbor kids. Pitched a tent and camped out with my kids Saturday night. Church Sunday morning, then ate outside at the local Shake Shake attached to a park with two families from church. In the afternoon took a nap while kids played quietly. Then went for church yard work day and murdered tons of honeysuckle. Came home and watched kids practice roller skating, then dinner under the stars on the porch. Busy weekend. I’m kinda exhausted. Not sure what I’m supposed to be missing.

How do people in the suburbs genuinely look forward to Friday night on the couch, Saturday morning at Costco, and call that a weekend? Like you really moved out of the city just to LARP as your parents at 34?

Don’t do this. For many reasons, but I remember the crushing pressure I felt constantly bc my grandmother had no life besides me. I felt like my entire existence was to entertain her/make her happy bc she didn’t have anything else going on in her life. It was devastating for me

My super strong parenting opinion is that while the kids are awake, you come last. No spending all of Saturday golfing. That’s family time. 6 am tee time only, maybe. Wanna go to the gym? Go after the kids go to bed, or wake up at 5. In a few short years, they’ll be out of the house and you’ll have all the time in the world for your own stuff. It’s okay to come last for a while.
