Nintendo Switch 2 developers: if you can't maintain 60 FPS, lock your games to 40 FPS. Leaving the frame rate uncapped only causes constant performance fluctuations. A fixed 40 FPS cap provides a more stable and smoother experience.

Capcom has revealed that Onimusha: Way of the Sword for Nintendo Switch 2 will target an upscaled 1080p 30fps docked and upscaled 900p 30fps handheld. There will be an option to enable a variable frame rate between 30 and 40 fps: rpgsite.net/news/20686-oni…

I love @CapcomEurope games on Switch 2, but this is exactly where they could opt for a 40 FPS cap, since 60 FPS isn't stable. It could also improve the overall visual quality and presentation of the game.
