Our school collected over 2,000 boxes of cereal to donate to homeless shelters in Broward County. But before we did, we had a little fun with them! Kudos to our amazing SRO, PTA and generous families and staff for making this happen! #2getherinServiceandLove

@nigel36796017 With respect, Nigel, we are a private company and have nothing to do with paying teachers. We don’t work for districts. Schools bring us in to do everything we can to make teachers jobs easier in regards to teaching writing. We wish we had a day in teacher pay!

This is one of my favorite beginning of the year lessons.
1- Survey students to get to know their likes/dislikes about topics.
2- Group the information to form categories for central ideas.
3- Move their sticky notes into the evidence boxes to support each central idea.
