@KydJustice Doesnt WWE always load up Mania? I feel like every year we get a bunch of legends popping up - HHH, HBK, Rock, Austin, JBL, RVD, Cena, Taker, etc. Also, the "host" never really does anything anyway. It's like an honorary title. So who cares?

I believe the legacy awards were created to honor wrestlers from earlier eras. But let's be honest - Sid debuted in the NWA/WCW after Demolition did in WWE, and Bad News also debuted in WWE after Demolition. Seems clear Sid and Bad News are "legacy" for another reason...

Thats why Roman became such a big deal - he was using story, not moves to create interest. I guess we'll need another pandemic to get real stories back. lol

You can tell a great story with a lot of moves. You can tell a great story with very few. The great thing about "storytelling" is that stories can be told and interpreted in all sorts of different ways! "Moves" and "storytelling" are not mutually exclusive things!

@KydJustice @zmanbrianzane I think part of the issue is trying to catch people's attention for a few seconds and making them want more of it. Long, drawn out stories are rare these days because attention spans are so short.

It was pretty surreal. I got a heads up that something special was going to happen, and encouraging me to watch. The whole thing was so f’n cool. A nod to nostalgia/history, but in a such a creative/edgy way.
