Godzilla might be the coolest cultural icon of all time People really underappreciated how versatile this character is. He can be used as an allegory for nuclear warfare or to deliver a message about war in general, then in the very next movie be a cute mother-nature esk protector of earth, then in the next be all hype and aura. There's a reason he's the longest running film character in history. My goat is timeless.

The reason why the Kraven movie is being compared to AI slop is because they’re both the result of democratized creation. This isn't someone’s intentionally made passion we’re seeing. This is the result of a bunch of suits sitting in a boardroom trying to find out how to make these particular Spider-Man villains work independently of Spider-Man so that they can milk them for as much revenue as possible. It’s not very different from the AI slop channels and the rage bait accounts that try to specifically engineer posts to exploit algorithms as effectively as possible. It’s why it feels cheap and fake, because it basically is.
