In our compound of five flats , the day power finally returned,no one ever knocks on your door or gives you head up. It's always been this way. I'm the only single guy here the rest four flat are occupied by married men with families. For as long as I can remember whenever NEPA brings light I'm the only one who call each of them on phone to say, Bro light has come o you can switch of your generator. I do it out of consideration so everyone can save fuel and enjoy free power supply. Yesterday I got home around 5:30 pm aftera long day. Power had been out since Morning, so I did the usual, after bathing feeling refreshed, I switched on my generator, on my fan and lay down on the bed just to rest a little before properly going to sleep, I was exhausted. When I woke up from that short rest that turned into deep sleep, I got to get cold water from the fridge. That when I saw compound lights on, cool air coming from every other flat and my generator is still on. I checked the time almost 11:00 pm Almost five full hours of electricity had passed while I was sleeping . This pattern has been going on for months but yesterday own felt different . It was too much. Out of it completely. Now I'm seriously asking myself should I stop calling them when NEPA brings light ?
