Two titans - mostly forgotten... 30 years ago, in 1996, Netscape Navigator reached its absolute peak with an almost 90% market share - this made it nearly synonymous with "the internet" for many users at the time. Around the same time, AltaVista was the most dominant search engine with around 100 million hits per day (which by today's standard's might sound small but was essentially market domination back then). Both are now long gone, mostly forgotten. The death of Netscape was the Internet Explorer (bundled with Windows) in the early 2000s. The death of Altavista was Google. Going from total domination to being nothing but a footnote within one generation. Tough.

@dougbagleyfdl Still done understand why the museum isn't sorted yet, as it was promised, and as for the trophy display on it is pretty poor just showing one, as Madrid , Barca Bilbao etc show every trophy even if it's the same one repeated friendly ones etc makes it so much better

Another defeat for Tottenham Hotspur. There's just no confidence and seemingly no real plan on the pitch other than hoping for set piece goals.

Extremely tempted to get Starlink at just £35 monthly here in the UK. Regular broadband is a con. I've tried various speeds between 100 & 1.6gb, and there's no difference because you are constrained by bandwidth. Satellite is the way to go..

The decline of London is in your face. Shame on you, Sadiq Khan. Getting on tube and the whole carriage is covered in graffiti. I’ve lived here since 2004 but this is a new development. One of many that’s driving what was once the world’s greatest city to the bloody third world.

I’ve seen @alexaljoe do this a fair few times now and it never fails to impress me. Asking questions in two languages, responding to and translating the answers for the audience watching and keeping the flow of an interview on live TV is some skill.
