At least he went through a trial and got an opportunity to state his side unlike President Zuma who didn’t even plead at all, an injustice that happened in the hands of the constitutional court and Adv Ngcukaitobi.

Not a Good day for foreigners Today‼️‼️ After much celebration, the Department of Home Affairs has clarified that ZEP holders do not qualify for Permanent Residency and that their ZEPs expire in May next year… Fortunately for us as South Africans the public will now be consulted on whether or not South Africans want the ZEPs to be renewed. This should’ve been done before they even granted ZEPs in the first place, the process of granting them was unlawful to begin with!!

It's most definitely not payback. It's empowering a systemically oppressed group of people which btw is 92.7% of the total population, per the 2022 census Let me use an example I went to university with a white girl that bemoaned BEE She didn't get into her preferred university, but still had the finances to fund her way into her second choice uni and is now a practising lawyer. Same end result. Likely, her place at the first choice university went to a student with similar marks but qualified for BEE The point is, her family's history of economic advantage due to the advantages gained as a result of racist apartheid laws meant that even though she was so-called maligned by BEE, she was able to achieve tertiary education and her end goal career with zero delay. Without any numbers to back it up, I'm willing to bet this is the case for most white students who were forced to re-evaluate. Most people of colour in this country in my generation are born into families whose parents and grandparents have little to no formal education because they were, by law, denied the opportunity to study. While her and my parents were able to go to good schools and then university during apartheid they were subjected to Bantu Education: "Bantu Education was a segregationist educational system implemented in South Africa by the Apartheid government through the Bantu Education Act of 1953. Designed to enforce white supremacy, it enforced separate, inferior schooling for Black students to prepare them only for manual labor and subservient roles." Sure, not all white people in this country are rich but the point is that even poor white people in this country have infinitely more resources, be it access to generationally superior education, family members with resources they can depend on. Elon's family profited during apartheid and he's now mega rich, while men of colour his age are, on the whole, impoverished. My family wasn't rich when I was a kid. Still aren't. But, my university educated mother, despite raising us alone, was able to become a teacher and send five children to private schools and then qualify for university bursaries and scholarships. I didn't but a family friend paid for my studies. We are all now successful in our own rights. My older brother is a film director, my older sister works for Big 3 accounting firm. I can assure you, the inconvenience of having to look for second choice avenues into uni etc are incomparable to the damage done to millions of families as a result of decades of segregation and slavery.

I'm a white South African and I have literally zero problems with BEE. But hey, what would a white man (Elon) that benefitted from a wealthy upbringing during apartheid know about it? Calling BEE anti-white is anti-intellectual. You're just unhappy that you can't get your starlink empire to expand to a country you happily left. Good riddance too

First of all, do not use foul language just because your knowledge is empty. It only proves that when you lack facts, you rely on insults. Let me educate you, because clearly you were taught nothing except how to hate. You think because you came and occupied our land, and brought machines that you built using our resources, that you are the smartest people on earth? That is not intelligence. That is called AGGRESSION AND OPPORTUNISM. Let me remind you of what BLACK PEOPLE ACHIEVED, while your ancestors were still living in caves and wearing animal skins: We invented Mathematics. The Egyptians (Africans) calculated the stars, created geometry, and built the Pyramids which still stand today as engineering miracles. We invented Medicine. We knew how to perform surgeries, set bones, and use plants to heal thousands of years before modern science. We invented Architecture. Great Zimbabwe, Mapungubwe, Timbuktu, cities of stone, complex societies, and centers of learning that amazed the world. We invented Mining & Metallurgy. We were the first to extract iron, gold, and copper, and we taught the rest of the world how to work with metal. So do not tell me we invented nothing. We invented the FOUNDATION OF CIVILIZATION. Everything you know today, numbers, writing, science, government, it all started here. And in the modern world? We did not just sit back. -Dr. Patricia Bath (Black Woman) invented Laserphaco, the technology used to cure blindness and perform eye surgery. Millions can see today because of her. -Dr. Mark Dean (Black Man) co-invented the Personal Computer and helped develop the ISA bus system that allows your computer to work. -George Washington Carver gave us industrial applications from agriculture that changed the world economy. -Lewis Latimer invented the filament inside the light bulb. So when you switch on your light, you are using Black invention. And regarding the Internet? The internet is not the creation of one race. It is a JOINT EFFORT OF HUMANITY. Black scientists, Black mathematicians, and Black engineers contributed to the code, the systems, and the security that makes it work. You act like white people did it all alone? That is the biggest lie ever told. EVERYTHING DEVELOPED IN THIS WORLD IS BECAUSE OF COLLECTIVE EFFORT. No race has a monopoly on intelligence. No race has a monopoly on creativity. We all build on top of what others started. That is called progress. NOW LET ME ASK YOU... "MR SUPERIOR INTELLIGENCE", WHAT HAVE YOU ACHIEVED? You sit behind a keyboard typing insults. You have not invented the internet. You have not built a company. You are just a parasite feeding on the work of others, including Black people, and you have the audacity to talk about "low intelligence"? I AM SURE YOU HAVE NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN AFRICA. You have never seen our universities, our industries, our innovators, our leaders, and our brilliance. You judge 1.5 Billion people based on propaganda and racist memes you see online. That is not low intelligence on our side. That is IGNORANCE AND ARROGANCE ON YOURS. Yes, I say what I allow here. Because this is my land. Because this is my home. You do not have to like it, but you must respect it. We are not asking for your pity. We are not asking for your permission. We are simply telling you the truth, WE WERE HERE BEFORE YOU, AND WE WILL BE HERE AFTER YOU. Condolences on your empty history and your racist heart.

"IT IS TELLING THAT YOU OFFER NOTHING BUT INSULTS AND PROPAGANDA"? On the contrary, brother. We offer HISTORY, ECONOMICS, AND REALITY. You are the one offering blind worship and hero worship, calling it "brilliance". Let us open your eyes to the loopholes you are too excited to see. "STARLINK IS NOT COLONIZATION, IT'S JUST TECHNOLOGY"? You say it is "daft" to call it colonization. But you are the one who does not understand power. Colonization is not only about soldiers and guns. Colonization is also about CONTROL. It is about controlling the narrative, controlling the information, and controlling the infrastructure that connects a nation. When one private company owns the internet pipes for 60 million people, When they control the data, When they control what can be seen or said, That is DIGITAL DOMINATION. You think because it is fast and shiny, it is automatically good? That is the same shallow thinking that made people welcome ships 300 years ago thinking they brought "civilization" and "trade". We ended up losing everything. So do not tell us we don't understand technology. We understand it perfectly. We understand that HE WHO OWNS THE INFRASTRUCTURE OWNS THE FUTURE. "YOU CANNOT STOP HIS BRILLIANCE OR CONTRIBUTIONS"? Stop acting like he is Jesus Christ. Elon Musk is a businessman. He is not here to save humanity. He is here to MAKE PROFIT. His "brilliance" is built on billions of dollars in government subsidies from other countries, And his "contributions" come with a price tag that ensures he remains the owner and we remain the users. You say he refuses to bend to a "crooked system"? NO. He refuses to bend to LAWS THAT PROTECT SOVEREIGNTY. He wants to enter a market, extract value, and send the profits home without letting locals own a piece. That is not bravery. That is called ARROGANCE. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, they are also brilliant. They also have technology. But they respected the rules. They negotiated. They complied. They did not cry "the system is crooked" because they are mature enough to understand that IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HOUSE, YOU FOLLOW THEIR RULES. "STATUS QUO BUILT ON RACISM AND CORRUPTION"? You are right. The old system was racist. THAT IS EXACTLY WHY WE HAVE THESE RULES TODAY. We are trying to undo that racism. We are trying to ensure that ownership reflects the people. And you are angry because we are stopping the old way where foreigners own everything. You call it "crooked" because it no longer serves only the rich and powerful. We are not against progress. We are not against the internet. We are against EXPLOITATION DRESSED AS INNOVATION. You can keep worshipping the man. We will keep protecting the nation. And one day, you will realize that no individual is bigger than the country he wants to do business in.
