It has come to my attention, through several calls to my office over the past few days, of concerns about the choice of site for the proposed 24-Hour Market in Cape Coast, and that many were surprised by the announcement and the reasons given for the selection of the site. I wish to place on record that I was not consulted by the Assembly on the selection of the site prior to this announcement.
Concerns that the Kotokuraba Market, one of the biggest and modern markets in the Central Region, currently sits in the South, and that our decision to site the next major market in the same part of the metropolis, are matters on which our constituents demand answers.

To say you doubt Rev Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost in Ghana is a true man of God because he complained about the worsening situation of galamsey in Ghana is sad.
Mary Awusi of Free Zones is freely attacking the Pentecost Chairman because she feels Ghana has been willed to them(NDC). People cannot freely express themselves. They cannot share their views and opinions today.
It’s either they’re arrested for speaking up or government appointees run those high personalities down. I’m extremely sad if this is the country we’re going to build.
