For instance when I worked on Steven Universe we would kill ourselves to meet our production dates and we never missed a single deadline. but the network would sit on finished episodes for months, air them out of order, or in batches etc

I WENT TO CHECK AND YEAH THIS IS TRUE. Thankfully, it isn't what we feared it was, but the new chapter is actually pretty deep if you linger on it a bit. And it's a nice way to send off her story in the storybook imo 🥹

@DONUTS643 @_atraMend_ I feel like that type of cartoony, every day villain role would be filled by something like Math Demon. TDL is a little too serious for that. IMO. Unless he undergoes some sort of arc that leads to him maybe being a frenemy? A foe the CG could occasionally vibe with? 🤔
