This week, Gov. Hochul said “housing is a human right.”
But if we don’t pass the #OurHomesOurPower package this session, then those 5 words alone will not keep any tenant in their home or any NYer off the street.
We must pass these bills, and we must do it this year.

When I was a Saturday school teacher, I relied on the B48 bus to travel across BK. It came 1x per hour. I would leave 2 hours early to make sure I caught it, because if it came early, I would lose my job. The anxiety it created was my main work stress. #FixTheMTA
