@AvaxGbl If you made a course, I would buy it and it would be the first Web3 thing I’ve seen that doesn’t feel like scammy vapourware.

5 years of career goes by fast. - Over 1 million lines of code (yes!) - over 15 freelance customers - 3 frameworks - 6 programming languages I now feel like launching a full web3 course to explain all that experience and help people make awesome Tech on #web3 . Thoughts?

@Roger_in_MTL The funny thing is, even though I’m a year in and know way more than I did when I started, I actually feel like *less* of skilled dev than when I first graduated.

Dev life is nice. The money is nice, the security of being in an in-demand field is super nice. But one of the main reasons I joined the field is the desire to have a craft and get really good at it. Like a master carpenter or a pianist. I want to get really good at development.

The most surprising thing about coding in a large organization is how many times you are doing something first. As in no one in the org has done it before, with x framework and y features. I’m a year in and next week is the first time I’m doing the same thing, a second time.

@JoshWComeau I have a decent setup, but I've often considered getting a small camper van to put in the backyard as a home office. Something to just define as a separate working space, for that mental separation from home.

Working a pediatric vaccination clinic today. We’re seeing much less volume than we have room for. Many parents don’t know you CAN get your child a second dose before 8 week interval. This might be the right choice for most right now. Don’t book online. Call and insist!

Cogent advice regarding Web3.

@contrariancoder @filevine @vercel Not a surprise that vercel has seen your passion for their products - seems like a great fit, congrats!

Today is my last day at @filevine. This has been the best company I have worked at so far. Amazing people and mission! Super excited to start as a Solutions Architect at @vercel in early December.

I have to admit I’m guilty of using flexbox for everything. I have a weird bias against grid - for no reason! A good reminder here to keep a bunch of solutions in mind.
