@Eman5695 but we found loving homes for them and we still have seven of them... for some reason no one wanted these 7 babies. The seven that we kept are all GREAT cats! They don't like to be held much, but they love to be petted. We love them and they love us. It works out!!! 😻

@Eman5695 My kids and I have socialized SO many feral kittens that I've lost count! Most of them were about 2 months old or so, but we gave them flea baths, fed them and gave them a warm place to sleep & they inevitably, eventually came around. Some took longer to socialize than others...

I'm looking for a little reassurance. I trapped my first feral cat and had her spayed this past Wednesday! 🎉 The clinic estimated her to be around 4 months old and recommended releasing her the day after surgery. I haven’t been able to let her go yet — I’ve been feeling a lot of guilt about returning her to the outdoors. She’s young, and though she’s very scared, she does allow me to pet her. I keep thinking maybe I can socialize her. But she hides constantly and is terrified of me, even in the safety of our bathroom. I know releasing her might be the right thing, but it breaks my heart thinking she won’t have the warmth, love, and security she could as an indoor cat. Any advice or experience would really help right now
