This kind of racism is hilarious coming from Australians. If your family didn't move there from England 100 years ago, they moved their from Albania or Greece 60 years ago.

@davidmellyruns Thanks for being the only American to celebrate our terrific Australian athletes this weekend without claiming that the wind was illegal or the timing system was faulty.

Has anyone else ever gone sub-3:30 without rabbits outside of a global championship?
Went on a deep dive into the all-time lists, and while I can’t verify whether all the El Guerrouj, Morceli, etc marks had pacers, I’m pretty certain this is the fastest such effort this century.
CITIUS MAG@CitiusMag
DOMINANT. 🔥 19-year-old Cam Myers wins the Australian 1500m national title and solo’ed a 3:29.85 personal best — just shy of the Australian record. 🇦🇺 The OAC’s Olli Hoare finishes second.

@FastbreakHoops5 I don't need to watch the video to know this was a travel.

The Other Man (2008)
A man finds his wife has been cheating on him & sets out to confront her lover.
The dialogue is clunky, despite the efforts of a decent cast
Offering a strong, engaging opening to the film, it runs out of steam and never recovers

@TheErinBrown @TrackGazette A new track, perfect wind, athletes at 100% peaking for this comp.
Jog on.....or go run your high-20's for 200m with a +2.8 tailwind, same thing.
English

@TrackGazette So everyone in this fake ass race runs a half second than they have all season lmfaooooo would've had me until I Aiden Murphy 20.4 pb go 19.8 lmfaooo! Australia remains home of the fake times!

19.67s!!!🤯🤯
World U20 Record ☑️
National Record ☑️
18-year-old Gout Gout 🇦🇺 has just run a blazing 19.67s (1.7) to win the Australian men's 200m title!!
He breaks the World U20 Record of 19.69s by Erriyon Knighton and goes 16th on the alltime list.
Aidan Murphy 🇦🇺 was 2nd in a massive PB of 19.88s, while Calab Law was 3rd in 20.21s (PB).

@ScottBaileyAAP @aap_sports But not the Shibasaki one? Chester dropped it before he even arrived!?

Graham Annesley clarifies one-handed bat backs are legal, why the disruptor rule has to stay and confirms two controversial calls this weekend were wrong.

The Third Man (1949)
A man visiting a friend in Vienna arrives to find that he has died
This is a masterpiece of cinema
Kane-like in the power of its cinematography, enthralling script & engaging acting.
5 stars but the score felt ill-fitting

.@Middleton_David What is the highest number of individual tryscorers in an NRL game?
In #NRLBroncosCowboys there were 11, each tryscorer scoring a single try.
There must be a record in there somewhere?!
English

@CodenameVinnie @ExtremeFootbal4 Speaking on behalf of Liverpool fans.... OUCH!!
English

@nrlphysio @DaveRic1 Zero wrapping there. Not sure how this is graded the same as Carrigan's.

Max King is expected to miss at least a month for the Bulldogs after scans revealed a fractured jaw out of last night’s game (via @DaveRic1)
Crazy effort from King to play on for almost 30 minutes after the injury, running for over 100m & making 36 tackles!
Usual recovery range of 4-8 weeks - underrated challenge in recovery from a broken jaw is the weight loss due to restrictions with chewing early on.
English

Blake Mozer will go for scans today on a suspected broken jaw.
Copped a heavy blow to the face & was removed from the field for a HIA which he failed - was deemed to have shown Category 2 signs.
If a jaw fracture is confirmed usual recovery range is 1-2 months. Mozer’s 2025 season was ended by a broken jaw.
English

@CodenameVinnie @KelFocker You just better hope they don't play a GF there then.
English

@DTelf @KelFocker The grass at Olympic park is super wet.
Not our fault.
English

@CodenameVinnie @KelFocker They have an easy run coming up, so I'm wondering if Cleary Sr put some conditioning into them.
Doesn't explain why they dropped the ball so much though.
English

@KelFocker @DTelf I thought it might happen. It makes sense. But i dont gamble on sports. Or against Penrith.
English

@KlMBERLY_ I'm Australian and that guy wouldn't be allowed to run a bowls club here, let alone a country.
To me it's unimaginable that there is no appetite or ability to remove him.
For me, that's the biggest indictment of the US system.
English

@KelFocker Nah. My only interest in betting is the numbers. I remember thinking that 5.80 looked too big for a two horse race.
English

@DTelf Did you put some $$$ on it? I don’t know anyone (personally) that picked the dogs last night.
