Got to talk with NMSU baseball coach Jake Angier after the Aggies' 13-8 defeat to Louisiana Tech last night:
"We need to come out attacking the zone better on the mound, and then we need to be able to string together consistent innings offensively... When you get blown out, like we have a few times, it's a collective thing. I mean, it's just not really doing good at anything, and so I need to do a much better job for these guys to get them prepared to play. I'm not doing a good enough job at the end of the day, because they're not. They don't come out looking prepared to play. And ultimately, it's on me to get them to do that, and I'm not. I haven't been able to figure out how to do that."
