Here are my unbiased unresearched picks for upcoming @gpi poker awards. Best Final Table Performance: @notontilt09 winning @WSOP main event Best hand: Weinman JJ hand at WSOP main event ft Second nention: Sepiol KT bluff vs @luckychewy @WynnPoker Best Streamer: Not a streamer watcher so I'll pass Best vlogger: @RealKidPoker slam dunk here. Really well produced, and has most views. Honorable mention to both "Ashley's" @pokerface_ash_ and @_AshleySleeth_ who produce great vlogs throughout the year. Best Short form Content: @MarleSpragg in a close win over @CaitlinComeskey both are very talented Best trophy: GPI promised to remove this ridiculous award, but I'll give it to @WynnPoker for their trophy design Best live innovation: @WSOP WSOP+ and @PokerAtlas Seating and table moving apps. Wsop+ gets the nod for video verification and complete automation without utilizing paper seat cards. Second mention to @WynnPoker for gaining acceptance of milestone satellites (late 2022 thru 2023). Best industry person: Combined award to @tkarn421 and @hayleyocho for their undying efforts on the @RGPokerSeries Second mention to @BenErwinPoker who seamlessly runs every major series through @TVPokerRoom and is more responsive to players concerns than just about anyone. Best tournament director: Slam dunk again to Jack Effel for running an amazing wsop every summer. So much goes on behind the scenes that no one even realizes. Not sure if he's even considered the "TD" but he deserves this award. Second and third mention to @RayPulford and @LVPokerBeau at @WynnPoker and @NittyJayTD @shrpo for all that they do to run multiple series throughout the year. These are among the few stops that really go out of their way to make adjustments based on players suggestions, and also include a wide variety of non holdem events in their series. Best event: Wsop main obviously. Second mention to @WPT prime @WynnPoker. Amazing undertaking to build such a huge event in only its second year. Best mid major circuit obvious winner here again is @RGPokerSeries Second mention to wsop circuit Best live stream: wsop main event final table. Great job by all involved. @KaraOTR and @MrJesseJames4 on the sidelines were a welcome addition Best stand alone festival series WSOP hands down. If this doesn't count in this category id give second mention to recurring @shrpo events and their dedication to running full poker series rather than just nolimit events. Best broadcaster: I like @lonmceachern and @Ali_Nejad for play by play. So many do great analysis may have to go with @MrJesseJames4 again but I haven't fully thought it through. Best Podcast: my favorite is Dat poker podcast with @RealKidPoker and @tchanpoker. They follow the poker news throughout the year and did an excellent series on @GGPoker Game of gold Best Twitter personality: I'm biased so I'll nominate myself! Second mention to @MarleSpragg and @VegasHayls Best media content written and video: I feel unqualified to vote without seeing/reading nominations. Best photo: slam dunk @RachKayPhoto of @NickSchulman after he won his bracelet
