@TorontoStar So will Daily bread review itself now as for years they've forced member agencies to take entire gaylords of produce that might want for example only some cucumbers vs too much with the take ALL or non e @ ALL policy leaving volunteers @ member agencies to deal with rotting food
I had volunteer training for food sorting at @DailyBreadTO. I was impressed with how organized it was. Training was an hour & then we got a 15 break. Water, coffee, tea & granola bars were available. Then we sorted for another hour. It’s something I want to do on a weekly basis.
We’re so humbled to announce that this year, through the generosity of our patients and staff, have received over 500 lbs of food, clothing and toys for those most in need! We’re grateful beyond words and thankful 🙏🏼 to all of those who so generously donated. Thank you 🙏🏼!
